During her dance career, she has studied and taught a wide variety of movement techniques, including ballet, modern (i.g codified Graham and Humphrey), jazz, contemporary, tap and acrobatics. As a performer, she has had the honor to dance in works, such as Chair Pillow, Passacaglia and Fugue in C Minor, Studio A, Will You Die With Me?, and Cuca Deluxe by world-renowned choreographers Yvonne Rainer, Doris Humphrey, Jennifer Harge, and Carols Pons Guerra, and participate in diverse concerts and festivals, including Arts in Color, A World Beyond, and Oakland Dance Festival. As a choreographer, she has collaborated in many creative processes. In 2019, she had the opportunity to dance and collaborate with Mamloft Dance Co. to present work for the Area Choreographers Festival. In 2020, she was chosen as a recipient to present her work at the University of Michigan’s Collage Concert, which allowed her and two other dancers to showcase a collaboration between dance and chamber music. Currently, Courtney is looking for opportunities to perform, choreograph, teach, and write for dance. She is eager to share her passion for movement and the musculoskeletal system through new opportunities and experiences.
